Metehan Sen, DDS
Dr. Metehan (Matt) Sen is a graduate of Touro College of Dental Medicine in Valhalla, New York, and works along-side his father and mentor, Dr. Sadettin Sen. Dr. Matt is always learning and discovering the newest and latest techniques to incorporate into his clinical dentistry practice. He has over 180+ continuing-education credits in lecture and hands-on/live-surgery courses including surgical implant placement, ridge preservation techniques, sinus lifts, veneers, surgical extractions, etc. He believes in comprehensively evaluating and treatment planning all his cases and practices evidence-based dentistry, practicing techniques based on literature and years of research. He spends a lot of his free time reading dental magazines, watching lectures and researching dental techniques and procedures to ensure his patients receive the best and utmost care.
Sadettin Sen, DDS
Dr. Sadettin Sen’s dental journey began at one of the top dental schools in Turkey during the early 1980s. After moving to America with his wife in the mid-80s, he continued his education at NYU, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In 1991, after refining his skills alongside other dental professionals, Dr. Sen established Broadway Dental Arts in New Jersey. His dedication to advancing his expertise is demonstrated through his attendance at multiple implant courses.
Though he has since passed the ownership baton to his son, Dr. Sen remains deeply involved in Broadway Dental Arts, delighted to see the practice thrive as a family-run business under his son’s leadership. He actively contributes to the practice’s success, leveraging his 40 plus years of dental experience to mentor and support his son, especially in complex treatment cases.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Sen is a devoted husband and father of three — two daughters and one son, Dr. Metehan Sen, who now leads the practice. Dr. Sen is also an avid chess player, an occasional gardener and was quite the athlete in his younger years, enjoying running, basketball and martial arts including Tae-Kwon-Do and Judo.
He has the intention of still working for years to come with no retirement date set yet.
